CrewBase Log is a pilot logbook that keeps your flying records on your own device. This page explains what information we handle and why.
Your flights, profile details (name, licence number, issuing authority), signature, expiry dates and imported files are stored in your browser on the device you use. They are not sent to our servers. Files you import are read inside your browser. If you clear your browser data or change device, this information is lost unless you have made a backup using the backup feature.
To let you log in, we store your email address, an encrypted password (if you sign up with email) and basic sign-in records such as when your account was created and last used. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We use this only to identify your account.
Account data is stored with our authentication provider, Supabase, on servers in the European Union.
We send emails needed for your account, such as verifying your address or resetting your password. We do not send marketing emails unless you ask to receive them.
CrewBase Log shows job listings from aviation employers. Viewing listings does not share your logbook or profile details with any advertiser.
We do not sell your personal information and do not share it with third parties, except the service providers needed to run CrewBase Log (hosting and authentication), or where the law requires it.
You can ask us for a copy of the account data we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing hello@crewbaselog.com. Data stored on your device is under your control and can be deleted from within the app or by clearing your browser data.
